Information You Provide: Your phone number (for account authentication and recovery), full name, date of birth, gender, sports interests, skill level, location preferences, avatar image, and wallet top-up history. Game Organisers and Venue Operators may provide additional business details. Information Generated by Your Use: Game bookings and cancellations, chat messages, payment transactions, reviews and ratings, check-in records, wait-list positions, and correspondence with other users. Technical Information: Device type, operating system, app version, unique device identifiers, IP address, and usage analytics.

How we use information

We use your information to: (1) Create, operate, and authenticate your account; (2) Facilitate game bookings, cancellations, and refunds; (3) Process wallet top-ups and payments through our payment partner SADAD; (4) Send you verification codes and important service notifications; (5) Provide chat, messaging, and community features; (6) Generate and display reviews and ratings; (7) Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud; (8) Improve our algorithms, features, and user experience; (9) Send promotional communications (with your consent); (10) Comply with legal obligations.

Sharing and disclosure

We share personal information only as follows: With game organisers and hosts (your name, avatar, confirmed attendance status, and contact information to facilitate the game), with venue operators (booking confirmations and attendance records), with our payment processor SADAD (phone number and transaction amounts necessary to process wallet top-ups), and with law enforcement or governmental bodies if required by law or to protect safety. We do not sell or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be processed by our cloud service providers for storage and security.

Data retention

We retain your account information as long as your account is active. Transaction and payment records are retained for a minimum of 3 years for accounting and compliance purposes. Chat messages are retained for 90 days unless you delete your account, in which case messages are anonymised. Review and rating data is retained indefinitely as it is part of the historical record of games. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support, though we may retain anonymised or aggregated data for analytics.

Security

We employ industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for data in transit, secure password hashing, phone-based OTP authentication, and restricted access controls for databases. Supabase, our backend provider, meets SOC 2 Type II compliance standards. However, no security system is completely impenetrable. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

Your rights

You have the right to: (1) Access your personal data by viewing your profile; (2) Correct inaccurate or incomplete information through your account settings; (3) Delete your account and associated data by contacting support@plus1sports.com; (4) Withdraw consent for marketing communications by disabling notifications in app settings; (5) Request a copy of your data in portable format; (6) Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in Qatar. Children

Plus 1 Sports is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete such account immediately.
